I love it I want it
Marvelous. A little bit of wonderland!
The Avenue Grill loves our sound totem! Thank you for sharing your art with uptown.
This is great....also great meeting you and the music guy the other night....
I love it so! But sadly, it has stopped playing music in the last couple of days :(
I think it needs a tune up :)
I often times will spend my nights roaming colfax in search of a working girl with as few track marks as possible... And I always enjoy taking a break from my search and admiring this very creative and playful art piece. I applaud the artist and thank them for making my nights just a little bit more enjoyable.
I walk right by that tree on my way to return video tapes and appreciate the creativity and hard work put into the piece.
Someone broke it.....no music. Sad face.
Thanks for helping make the neighborhood special!
It doesn't work. 17th and Washington.
We found this today, and pulled over to see. It's very cool, very secretive looking. A sound totem the tag said. Was there supposed to be music playing?
Love!! Need one in Park Hill please-- made our night
We had to know what was in the tree...
I would like to help make this an open source project that many could use to create similar installments everywhere (giving the originator full creator of course).
If you're not interested, I have a lot of ideas on how to do this without having any knowledge of how your original was implemented, however; I would really prefer to have your input.
Please let me know if you have any interest in expanding the project; otherwise I will take my own stab at it and still give you credit for the inspiration.
I look forward to hearing from you!
Did you get a permit from the city forester to attach that on a city tree??
Where is this located? It' so cool!
Great installation. Have been driving by with my kids for months creating huge stories of what could be behind the door. Only can imagine what the soundscape is - but really, it's inconsequential. Thanks for the joy of wonderment and surprise.
This was cool. The first QR code I followed that wasn't to an advertisement.
I was just driving by and saw a door in a tree. Had to turn around and investigate. Seriously messed with my head so hard. Freaking awesome. Nice peaceful music. FTW GUYS.
Its beautiful. No music though ):
It's been repaired and is fully working! I love it!
The music died. Bye bye American Pie. Please fix it. I just want to dance on the corner of 17th and Wash
I love people that make things like this. I feel honored to have stumbled into this beautiful piece of magic.
Things like this make Denver unique. :)
Passed by a few times and finally decided to look inside. A little disappointed there wasn't a gnome or smurf living in there.
this made my morning! are they others around town? where do I get more information on this?
I'm six years old and saw the tree from our last spring. Today my mom stopped and let me open the door. It was so cool. Thank you for your clever art.
I've driven past this corner thousands of times and never noticed this before. Stopped by today with my daughter. What a joy! Such a great idea and so well executed! Thank you for making us smile.
Gabriel is the man.
Drove around the block 4 times trying to figure out what was inside before we decided to finally get out of the car. Totally worth it! So creative and an awesome treasure! Just wish the music would have played :(
The sound isn't working!!! Please fix- I love this little nugget!!
magical to discover it with you, enjoyed watching you fix the battery and volume in tree, listened to the whole song, loved it, i will always remember and also visit when i need to remember to smile.
I finally opened the little door to find out what this was, but it didn't play any music. I opened and closed it several times, but no sound. It may need to be repaired.
The one by hamburger Mary doesn't play any music. Was waa
It was fixed! My girlfriend asked if I wanted to "look in the tree hole".
Came across this music totem while stopped at the light. Looked to the left and saw it for the first time. Then I just now stopped and opened the little door. Surprise!, a music box. Way cool. Little things like this makes city living cool.
